Index and Directory of Industry Standards 5 vols. 1994, 016.60218in23; available at the reference

Three subject volumes index 60,000 documents from 362 standards-generating bodies. One volume covers U.S.
standards by subject (usually ANSI standards); two other volumes cover international standards by subject;
additional volumes include numeric listings of the standards, a concordance, and an index of participating
organizations' standards.

Lists all ANSI standards and is indexed by subject, title, and standard designations. American National Standards
Institute (ANSI) is the national coordinating agency for voluntary standards issued by numerous trade and
professional groups. The Institute itself does not develop standards but makes use of the more than 100 technical,
trade, and professional organizations which comprise the Institute's system.
The standards themselves are shelved in the Grainger Engineering Library on the first floor across from the circulation desk.

Annual Book of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) Standards. 68 vols. divided
into 16 parts, 620.6amas; shelved across from the circulation desk in the standards section.
First volume is the subject index for the set, also gives an alphanumeric list. Other volumes contain ASTM standard
classifications, guides, practices, specifications, test methods, terminology, and related materials such as proposals.

BSI (British Standards Institute) Standards Catalogue 1994, Q.016.60218b777b; available at the
reference desk.
Contains British standards and related publications, lists equivalent international standards for British standards,
includes a subject index.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Catalogue 1994, Q.016.62is7; available at the
reference desk.
Lists ISO standards in broad subject classifications. The standards are also indexed by number, technical
committee, and detailed keywords. Withdrawn standards are separately listed. The ISO Catalogue is also available online.
DIN (Deutsches Institut fur Normung) Katalog fur technische Regeln / DIN Catalogue of Technical

Indexes German standards, first volume is arranged in subject groups, second volume is arranged in numerical order
